User Note: The Tehama County Background Report prepared as part of the General Plan Update Process is intended to be used as a reference and information document only.  The Background Report, completed in May of 2007, is intended to provide baseline information and establish a “snapshot” of the existing conditions within the County at the time of its preparation.  Readers are cautioned that the information presented in the Background Report varies in age and source and may be not reflect existing conditions at the time of the use of the document.  Users of the Background Report should note that the document will not be further revised as part of the General Plan Update process.  It is noted that where new or updated information has been made available subsequent to the publication of the Background Report, such new information has been utilized and incorporated into the General Plan policy document and accompanying Environmental Impact Report (EIR) analysis.
